I began as a watercolor artist then moved into fluid acrylics and resin. I find color theory fascinating. My subject matter is almost always nature and often in abstract. I can find beauty in a river rock, a shell or even a rain puddle slicked with oil. I will take the colors of a flower or the feathers of a bird and use them to create a painting. I am trying to evoke a feeling or a mood with colors and patterns.
Often a viewer will see something in one of my paintings that I did not intend and that is just fine with me. I want people to connect with my art in anyway that speaks to them or brings them joy.
I occasionally accept commissions for specific colors and sizes.
